Topic :- Closing Note

Nifty closes at 2009 high. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 17,334, up 103 points and the Nifty was at 5,171, up 27 points, as per provisional data. 

Investors should invest in selected stocks now as we can see another yearly high closing soon. We are expecting correction in the market in coming days say in January. So trade accordingly.

The Asian markets have now closed following a mixed session of trade while its Indian counterparts are quietly working towards a positive strout. Sensex is down on 17,214.15, in the red  by 22.86 points while Nifty is down to 5134, in the red by 9 points since yesterdays closing. 
 Nifty will find its good support at 5120-5095. Below 5095 we can see some selling pressure in the market. 

The market breadth is positive with advances at 689 against declines of 547 on the NSE.

After Yesterdays gains we are expecting this flat market today. However one should not go short in Nifty from current levels. Nifty spot if manages to trade and sustain above 5160-5162 then we can see some more upmove in the market and if Nifty spot breaks and trade below 5140 then we can see some profit booking in the market. Use trailing stoploss and keep on booking regular profit. The market breadth is positive with advances at 871 against declines of 357 on the NSE.

1. Primary articles inflation for week ended December 12 is at 14.66% vs 14.98% (WoW),. 
2. Food price inflation is at 18.31% vs 19.95% and fuel and power prices rise 3.95% (WoW),
