Topic :- Closing Note

Before long weekend Nifty ended on a cheerful note. Nifty rallies 160 points in this week. he choppy session ended with the Sensex gaining 132 points from the previous close and closing at 18,799. Nifty also added on 32 points and pulled down its shutters at 5640. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices were also up 0.7% and 0.3% on the BSE. Banking stocks were clearly heroes of the day, with the BSE Bankex gaining 2.2%. BSE Capital Goods also added over 0.8%. However, oil & gas, healthcare and FMCG stocks witnessed slight selling pressure. Market breadth was positive with 645 advances against 627 declines on the NSE. 

Now we can see some more strength in the market in coming trading sessions however we can not rule out profit booking from the higher levels. One should use all higher levels as a point to exit long positions. Though this will be minor phase as overall Nifty is bullish.

Nifty spot if manages to close above 5640 then we can see some more upmove in the market. Though market seems to be bit stretched out and we can see profit booking from the higher levels soon. So one should try to exit long positions on every high. Still close above 5640 will further propel Nifty. Close below 5640 will result in profit booking however 5580 will act as important Support. Market breadth is positive with 775 advances against 571 declines on NSE.

Nifty showing some smart recovery. Nifty spot if manages to trade and sustain above 5640 then we can see some more recovery in the market and if Nifty spot breaks and trade below 5610 then profit booking till 5580 can be seen. Market breadth is positive with 773 advances against 581 declines on NSE.

The Indian stock market is continuing to trade in the positive zone. Sensex is on 18,747, in the positive by 81 points since its previous close. Nifty is on 5625, in the positive by 17 points. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices too are having a good day and are up 0.9% and 0.7% respectively. Banking stocks are attracting significant buying interest, whereas metal and oil & gas stocks are under some selling pressure. Market breadth is positive with 786 advances against 480 declines on NSE.

Rangebound activity is likely to follow in Nifty now. Upside momentum will be witnessed if Nifty manages to trade and sustain above 5640 level. Nifty will find its strong support at 5580-5550 level for today.The market breadth was positive with advances at 843 against declines of 497 on the NSE.

Stock specific movement is there.5640 to act as minor Resistance for the Nifty and if Nifty spot breaks and trade below 5610 then we can see some more profit booking in the market. One should follow market trend.  The market breadth was positive with advances at 831 against declines of 485 on the NSE. 

In commodity segment BASE METALS are falling sharply following China crack down on illegal funds. One should try to grab Base metals from lower levels and hold for 1-2 days as we can see recovery in them soon.
